Slave Maker 3.4.01 Update and Full Release

This is an update for the game, to fix a lot of bugs in the game, notably issues for game endings and quite a few problems for events when walking and many general bugs. There are a lot less bugs in this release but some remain as I have seen posted recently. Still this is a much more functional version of the game.

Also included in this release
  • New slave Kannu Unchou from Ikkitousen
  • update for Aya Shameimaru
  • many Minor Slaves and Assistants have had updated images sets to include additional images for the new sex acts for Intimacy in Talk to Slaves. A lot have had pregnant images added. 
  • Many Minor Slaves have had images added so if you use the 'Fully Train option then they will have images during training. When you select to 'Fully Train' you will get an indication of the number of images available for them
  • New Minor Slave 'Pfil' from Bondage Fairies manga by Kondom. She is an alternate reward for helping the fairies at the Farm
  • New Minor Slave 'Merceded' from Odin Sphere. Can be encountered, but only after you obtain the slave Arak
  • New assorted events by ElPresidente
  • Fixes for Twins type slaves like Panty and Stocking so phrasing and references are better. Similarly for cases where you choose to have no assistant.
Note: the game is currently 6.03Gb in size




Upgrading
To upgrade an existing installation you can use either the torrent or download the update file provided

Torrent
This process is somewhat safer than the filehost method below, as after the torrent finishes you will have all files in the game in their correct locations. You may have some files duplicated in old locations but they are harmless, but will take some excess space on you hardrive.
  • start the torrent, wait for it to allocate all files and start downloading.
  • stop the torrent and exit your client (do not delete the torrent, just pause it)
  • find the folder your torrent client downloads into and the SlaveMaker 3.4 folder it is using
  • copy your current game into that folder, replacing all files when asked.
  • Move the folder Images/Morrigan to Images/Slaves/Morrigan
  • re-run your torrent client and resume the torrent. It will now continue, and a large percentage of the new version will be complete already 

Filehosts
Download the update and copy into your game installation. Extract it overwriting any files when asked. DO NOT extrack into a subfolder.

these are all 5.7Mb is size torrents. When the torrent starts it will create a folder
SlaveMaker 3.4 in you standard torrent folder. When the torrent completes, move this to the location of your choice, you may rename it if you wish.

If you use the Upgrade method via above for the torrent you will be able to download faster


Packs
Theses are the game divided into parts, each allowing selected portions of the game to be dowloaded. This allows you to save download time and bandwidth as you need.

All files in the packs are in the torrent version, there is no need to download both

I will not be providing separate torrents for the packs.

The packs are
  • Basic Pack - this is the core game. It is a basic playable version of the game with a few slaves,  assistants and minor slaves
  • Assistants Pack - an add-on that adds many more assistants for the game
  • Minor Slaves Pack - an add-on that adds many more minor slaves to the game
  • Events Pack - an add-on that adds additional content to the game, developed by 3rd party developers
  • Slave Packs 1 to 11 - These are collections of 10 slaves for the game (packs 10 and 11 have less than 10 slaves)
Installing:
Download the file or files and extract into a folder of your choice. Each downloaded file will create a folder
SlaveMaker 3.4
if asked merge any folders in common, you should not be asked to overwrite any files, but if asked then agree to do so.
DO NOT extract each pack into a separate folder, make sure each are extracted into the same base folder

NOTE: most slave packs for 3.4.01 have not been uploaded yet so the links below are mostly the previous version 3.4 links. The 3.4 versions are noted. The changes for slave packs for 3.4.01 are generally small bug fixes, the new slave Kannu is in Slave Pack 11.

      It is uploading from my home and I have an ADSL2+ connection that runs at about 100kbps uploading. I have the torrent throttled to 60kbps to allow me to upload other files and use the internet ok

      Hmm.. Okay, I suspect it will resume at some point then. Getting nothing coming down atm but I likely hit the wall of where it is. I'll leave it running for now. I'm excited to try the new version, maybe try for pfil (though I have never once managed to get the fairy events to occur). Is it in the config maybe? the probability that is. I edited the config a bit for other probabilities and such on occasion.

      Maybe my connection is hung, but I am not home to check, I will when I get there.

      The fairy events are when walking at the farm, no configuration affects it, but bugs in 3.4 could prevent them.

    I hope the piority for the next mounth will be in make the Story about the demons and angles bigger and more complex. (Or other ... additional storylines) For the Moment there are really enough Slaves in the game (okok there cant be enough Slaves I know ;-) ) so i hope the Focus is on a bit more Story now which - i think - whould make the game again a better and better one.

      in the talk to slave menu, you can select a slave and select "fully train". The slave then becomes inactive as minor slave and becomes available as a trainable major slave after completing the current major slave

      What would happen to the time limit on the major slave when you try to train a minor slave? would it be suspended or would it continue to count down with the minor slave you started to train?

    I'm getting new and major bugs
    - loaded my current slave (saph) after torrent update : a) the items in the two leftmost collumns in equipment lost text. b) visit miss N gave me a blank screen (no img, no txt) and no invites for the party (so my catslave got stuck at lvl50)
    - completed the slave (could be a version conflict in the save file) and started a new one (minor laan)
    This worked fine until I had to save and reload : on loaded game the items problem was back, so I did a visits test : only Lady O and count G load, the rest is blank

      There is a bug upgrading some save game. You can fix this by

      a) exit the game

      b) find the save game with problems and copy to another folder

      c) start a new game and save it into the same slot (ie if it was save 1 save then new game as save 1)

      d) exit the game

      c) copy the save back (from a) EXCEPT for the file
      smXcities.sol
      where X is the same number
      eg for save 1
      sm1cities.sol

      d) play the game. All people and places will have reset back to the start of game, but they will be functional, so you will have to re-rescue Lady Farun etc

      The equipment items problem is still there : no text in two lefdtmost columns. This appears when loading a savegame. Text is back when new slave starts training but after save and load it's gone again

    Chose the fully train option for a minor for the first time :
    adding a generic wardrobe might be a good idea (havin a courtly dress would be nice)

    I agree with the above statement about generic wardrobe. And with the plot development. I'm liking this release a lot. I'd recommend introducing the mentioned but inactive house upgrades as well.

    I don't know if this is where you mention them, but I have two bugs I've found thus far:

    Samus's Cosplay ending fails as the cosplay contest never appears, perhaps extra contests are broken?
    The names of items in the equipment page often do not display on the tiles (slaves tested with: Samus, Kasumi, Shampoo).
    also, if could just be bad luck, but I have yet to be invited to mistress Epona this time around after more than 150 port visits spaced across two slaves. Since I started with pony trainer 1 but NOT pony expert, this might be a flag bug, or it could be bad luck.

      As I noted the torrent contains the entire game. You do not need any packs if you download using the torrent

    Is there anyway to get a torrent file of the full game that doesn't create a folder? I can't get it to work using my torrent downloader. I just want a standard torrent file that just downloads the game.

      I would suggest using a better torrent client, I use Vuze and it has not issues for this. The game is multiple files and folders in the torrent it is not a single archive, so a torrent without the folder would create the game in the default download location for your torrent client. Plus I would have to seed and upload that entire new torrent.

    How do I get a puppygirl ending? Puppy training is at perfect puppy but I don't get a special ending. Is it like with catgirls and I need to go to a party or something to get the ending?

      You just need an event inm the morning where she says 'I am a puppy girl'. For this training 40+, Temperament 50 or less

      At the end of the game you need a score of 50+ and she must be wearing the ears and tail and have had the above event

      First off I need to finish some changes to allow other cities to be played in the game, a developer at the Futanari Palace has been discussing creating an alternate location/setting. The game does this mostly there are just some minor parts left to be coded.

      After that probably an alternate unser interface, a different screen layout to support widescreen better

      Both of there are not huge tasks and probably then either slave maker backgrounds and house upgrades/exploration

      Also so stories to find/capture slaves in events, including
      - Zoey in a follow up to the evil mine
      - a spider girl in a follow up to the recruitment of Mercedes
      - possibly Meigura and an alternate wish (not a huge number of images available for her, both human and demon)

    Found a bug with minor slave training. The visitable people don't reset when you start the training. In my case, I trained Shampoo to be a courtesan, completed her training, and then went on training Maid Tiara. When I visited Lady Okyanu with her, she was still talking about the next party she invited her to, as if I was still training Shampoo. Samewise, the Lord or Maid Sumi wouldn't talk to me because I already saw them. Also, the problem stayed even after I finished training Maid Sumi and started over with a new slave, meaning I'll have to scrap this save if I want to train a courtesan or visit the Lord ever again.

      I suspect this is related to the people visiting problem discussed in a comment above. Could you atually visit any of the people like Miss N?

      If you do the fix discussed it will correct the save game, but this should only be needed for a save game from version 3.4.01 so a save create using 3.4

      Hum... I did not upgrade my installation: I downloaded the whole game via torrent. Also, I wasn't using an old save: this was a new game.

      I tried again, and I was wrong on one account: the problem isn't linked to minor slave training and happens even when going from one normal slave to the next. Made a new slaver, trained Ran to be a courtesan, and then started training Shampoo. Same as before, when meeting Lady Okyanu for the first time with Shampoo, she talked about the next function. Also, the Lord won't see her and gives the "I thank you for your presence but you should talk to someone else" answer. As for Miss N, same as Lady Okyanu: she immediately talks about a party rather than ask me to visit her with my slave naked.

      So far no one else has reported this. I did have similar reports during development but they were bugs that I fixed and did not get re-reported afterwards.

      I also have this problem. And there are some more: Slaves have another bug. When pumping stat they do not rise above 100, although the skills Coach allow pump to 150 and above.     I don't know if this is a bug or if i'm doing something wrong (i've followed what the wiki says) but I'm unable to visit mistress epona. I have the option to visit her on the visit list, my slave is wearing the bit gag, pony tail and harness but when I choose to visit her it throws up a blank image with not text and no stat changes. I don't have any pony trainer skills, but this is supposed to give me some.

    I have a suggestion for a feature, Cmac. How about an option to join/quit The Guild, at the cost of money for leaving (Twice the cost of a house move, perhaps?), or a small Reputation drop (5 points, perhaps?)? I think that sounds good, anyone agree?

    I'm having trouble with the pair of Knights at the lake. It's very had to get some of the other events like the maid giving you the apron or the potions for Lady Farun. I've gone into the Event-EP_Extra.xml file and cut 50% down to 25%. I'm hoping I can get the potion to progress the cave quest before training time ends.

    I had the people visiting problem, same as above, so I applied the suggested fix. This worked, but now the option to interact with Lady Farun under the visit option, attend court, and the secure pens either completely disappeared or is blank for all saves.

      Strange, try again, make sure when you start the new dummy game to make sure you use the same sort of slave maker. You will have to re-rescue Lady Farun

      I used the same slave maker but the problem remained the same. The only time she appears is when I speak with the spider woman in the secure pens, but that is basically it. The option to even rescue her doesn't even appear.

      Yes, I copied the save files to a new location, started a new game, saved the game over said file, exited, then replaced the file with the previous save files except for the smxcities.sol. It seems to only affect my saves from the previous version but is fine if I started anew.

      Thank you for your response and help, but I found a solution. I completely deleted the save files from the new version's folder and replaced them with just the previous save from the backup folder of the previous version, which happened to be the "after" right before I had to choose a new slave, along with the smglobal file.

      No requirement just rescue the fairies AND personally supervise the walk to receive the reward

      Mercedes is met when walking at night on the beach rocks.

    one annoying bug: when i buy a minor slave with slave trainer 1 the skill cap is 80. when i level up the trainer skill (3 so far) the old cap is still active. slaves i bought with 1 capped at 80, bought with 2 capped at 100 and so on. ordering the slaves wont increase the stats and neither does active interaction (discuss etc) but you still get a + sign though.

    This will be my first time playing this as I have heard great things about this game and thought I would give it a whirl, now I can see there has been an update on here recently which is fantastic the only thing is I am downloading this game through torrent from the ground up with the latest version I do not think anybody is sharing because my download is not even going through any help would be much appreciated thanks again every one !

      The torrent version tries installing AdAware, which though technically isn't a virus IT IS a VERY aggressive advertising program that pushes right to the boundary of being a virus, partially hijacking your web browser. I got it off my computer by calling my anti-virus and getting them to get it off my computer directly. I have a firewall/anti-virus that I pay for.

      *sigh* and I'm still having to restore factory setting on my computer as I'm now having video and graphic problems.

      I really suggest just doing the direct file download. :D

      It's a game that is constantly having stuff added to it. DL the files from 'latest update' and you will have everything that is currant. If you want to be even more updated, get involved I the bug-reporting and checking on futanai palace, link at the top of the website.

    Heyho, thx for the hard work on this game! i have a question about pregnancies, is it possible to switch the event for the birth and info message from the morning to another point? maybe between day and night actions. i turned of contradiction for every slave(after i got a bunch of them) and was using orgys as preferred training method.... that kinda broke my game. no more time for training, no contests, no travelling merchant and no story events for a loooong time.

Just wondering, as there are only 4 male slaves currently, Mariya, Kyon, Ryo and Shinji, and all except Shinji have special endings, are you planning on releasing more males slaves in the future? Just Gay slave trainer is kinda pointless if you're getting as many special endings as you can

My only problem is i have downloaded the latest full download and Slave Packs 10-11 is not included. I also tried to download them from MEGA but just because my computer and browser is old it stops at 99% which is a common situation for old browser users.     Problem I am having at them moment in game. I took Narry and used the "fully train" option. So she is being trained as a full slave. However, she does not have the same shop options for dresses and such full slaves have. This blocks me out of things like going to Okyanu since she has to have a "courtly" dress.

    So, after updating to the latest version I wanted to train Marey (the Centaur) and it said she would have 9 unique images, which seemed fine. So I went with Fully Train and finished training my current slave, but she never appeared in the list of slaves in the Slave Market. Is there a bug involved or is it something unique to Marey?

    Yeah i just reinstalled my game, but it still starts in the evening,
    i cant fullfil the daytime jobs, because the evening goes until 11 pm.
    But i can do Sexacts in the morning, BUT only until 11 am
    and after that i can do nothing -.-
