Updated Slave

C.M. Tyssen has released a new update for Sakuya.

Release Notes:
* The new XML file should fix the bugs that have been reported, plus correct for some spelling or grammatical errors I found in the text. (Thanks for the bug reports!)
* The new image files now include size optimized PNG files.
* Defeating Mistress Scarlet and giving the Mansion to the Lord will now allow the SM to be promoted to a new job as Sheriff for the small district around the Red Devil Mansion. Note: this job does not carry on after the Sakuya module ends.
* Problems with permanently adding Meiling, Kasen and Koakuma as owned slaves to the SM's household seem to be fixed. The latest XML file includes needed sex and discussion images for Kasen and Koakuma. FYI, I plan to eventually buildout Meiling and Kasen as full training assistants with special properties and events.
* 3 Beach events have been debugged. Note that two of these events are precursors to an eventual anal slut training process that requires collecting anal training equipment. Custom items still do not work for game 3.3, so full development of this aspect to Anal Slut training remains on hold. Currently, Sakuya can be declared 'anal slut' simply because she performs anal sex 30 times or more.

Note to imstall this update
a) extracr the xml file into your game into the Slaves subfolder
b) extract the images folder into
Images/Slaves/Sakuya
subfolder

    1. I put everything into the one folder for sakuya and now, there are like multiples of the same image with the same size. what should i do with them? I followed every instruction in the file extraction location.

      I'm still running v.3.2.06 while I'm gathering the parts for 3.3, and I'm currently training Thosaka. When I got to her into screens, they were for Sakuya. That seems a bit odd, don't you think?
      And speaking of pic files, is there any specific size that I should scale them to? The intro screens I created for Holo are 800 x 600.

    3. Not sure about the Thosaksa issues I'll check the files.

      There is no specific size needed, I commonly use 800x600 or 600x800 as a good compromise and size and quaility.

      The absolute maximum is 2880x2880 and do not go less than 448x336

  4. Wait... The new Image download is supposed to overwrite the original files? The original image folder was placed in Images/Sakuya, not Images/Slaves/Sakuya. Or is that just on my computer? Which location is correct?

    1. If it makes it any easier, just delete all previous image files for Sakuya. The contents of the newly downloaded Sakuya Image folder should be placed within the Sakuya image folder located at: GameMaker3.3/Images/Slaves/Sakuya.

      Note that the Sakuya folder has 10 of its own subfolders (e.g. Items, Dojo, Meiling, etc.) Keep these subfolders within the parent Sakuya folder. Do not transfer the individual images files from the subfolders into the Sakuya parent folder. Keep the subfolders intact.

    3. there's many ways maybe by using the brain slug assistant or urd as she is a goddess and alchemist or using the tentacle hybrid(if it has been worked on) , Inhuman Ancestry(with demon ending) backgrounds , the unusual cum for dickgirls ect... just giving you some ideas for scarlet in the future....

    4. How about letting it be possible to Keep her as a slave IF you have the Vampire Advantage yourself ? As an event where you drink HER blood and make her surrender to you ?

      Its one of the things in a way I feel is missing, that DARK or EVIL element if your say a Demon, or A Succubus or Vampire that there are certain slaves or events you can gain by being on the "dark side". Fun possible elements could be enslaving Lady Farun's maid to work as a "agent" of yours. A Hidden mansion or keep you can optain. That or some DARK endings, like if you have Succubus Background, you can say transform a slave into a succubus also and she KEEPS that "look" or "trait" if you want to call it that as an Assistant.

      There is no need to use any of the previous updates for releases 2.1 or 2.2 (version 2.3 was never published for the public.)

    3. As it happens I do want to create a customized ending that deals with the possibility that the player allows Sakuya to become Scarlet's slave. I have a nice image ready for it too. Unfortunately I never got around to asking how to code this. When I release Sakuya 3.0 I will be certain to include this. Wen will that be be? A couple of months at least. I am working on a long delayed Bar event first.

  9. After downloading the pictures folder of sakuya I noticed it says (2.4 sakuya image) so not only replaces capeta added as another one after removing (2.4 image) and there is only sakuya everything is normal.

      b) extract into a new subfolder Sakuya all the files and subfolders
      c) move that new subfolder and make it
      Images/Slaves/Sakuya
      prefereably delete the existing folder of that name first

    1. See Mihoshi's xml for a simple walk event in the Town Center. For a minor slave you can still add Events nodes, see some simple cases for Narry for instance (early monring for that one)

  13. I wish there was an option to keep the fox-chef and the Necromancer. Sakuya's story is interesting and fun to play still.

    1. Thank you for the feedback. I am gratified to know you enjoy the Sakuya module. If more people support the idea I will get around to developing the Fox-chef (Yakumo) and the Necromancer as slaves that can be purchased at the slave auction. This is appropriate since neither character has image libraries that are varied and extensive enough to support developing them as trainable slaves like Sakuya herself.

    and how do you meet up with the patient again with unohara? (she came to me but my kido was too low. After i trained her up, can i still encounter her again?)

  15. When trying Sakuya, I had this bug :
    All discuss option with minor slaves seems amlfonctionning, clicking is possible but with no effect : not time consuming, no characteristic change
    Discussiong with meiling trigger the event but that's all like other minor slaves.

    1. You are correct - there is abug with the dialogue. I included a patch over at FutanariPalace.com.

      Here is the link to an XML file that fixes the code issue with dialogue. Download and paste into the folder named 'Slaves'. Overwrite your current file named Slave-Sakuya

  18. If I save Sakuya game in progress and close game completely, when I reload Sakuya in progress game I do not have any images of Sakuya for day or night activity, however in between events with Meiling work.

    1. Hmm. I am not certain why this is happening. Can you confirm that this only happen with Sakuya but not with any other XML slaves like Rogue, etc.?

    2. I did try Rogue and did not have the same problem, I'll try playing a bit longer to see if that causes it. I will look to see if I added content etc. I have completely reinstalled the game unfortunately with the same results. I did try changing assistants and save locations with the same results as well.

    4. I was playing sandbox mode with female slavemaker that had reached max limits, went back to an earlier saved point where slavemaker was not fully developed and did not experience the issue with Sakuya, if that helps.

  21. The maid school and the doctor are not working for me. I keep getting the 2.2 dialogue. But when I go to the maid school I get a flash of a pic for a split second.

    I installed both folder files right so what’s up ?

    1. Not quite certain what is happening here, but I recommend re-installing the Sakuya module. It sounds as if new files are not overwriting the old out of date version.

      Step 1. Find the Game folder named "Slaves". Delete the file named Slave-Sakuya.xml

      Step 2. Download latest XML file located at

      Paste the new Slave-Sakuya.xml file into the "Slaves" folder.

      Step 3 (optional) You can also reload your images into the Sakuya Image folder by downloading from here.

      Note that the game folder for images is Images/Slaves/Sakuya and Sakuya has 10 sub-folders. Keep these sub-folders intact within the main Sakuya Image folder.

    Just a question, if I didn't recruit the sorc in the library, and I've done everything else, is it still possible to defeat Scarlet? I keep getting these messageless fights against the necromancer when I go underground via Grave. Is it a bug or am I missing something?

    1. Hmm, that does sound like a bug. Are you noticing text go missing during your fight or during the ghost encounter that follows it? Also, it might be helpful to confirm that you are using game version 3.3. Sakuya will definitely be buggy when used with the older 2.6 version of the game. If you are using the latest game version, then make certain you are using the very latest Sakuya XML file. See my response to the above question for that download link...

      At any rate, there should be text for those fights with the necromancer. Although it's mostly descriptive and just nice to have. None of it is critical. The text for the ghost encounter that happens on the stairs up is slightly more important.

      And to answer your question, yes it is possible to defeat Scarlet without making the Sorceress (aka Patchouli Knowledge) an ally. I think it's more fun to figure out how on your own, but you can also review the spoiler walk-through at the Otakubell wiki site:

      Note that a rapid read through doesn't quite spell out how to have victory, but it certainly confirms how many items and characters may be involved. The wiki also fails to mention that it is still conceivable that attacking through the tunnel results in death for the player. But it is also possible to have the very easiest of victories as long as you have the combination of the right ally (not the sorceress) and some syringes of potion #6.

    2. I'm using 3.3 and I've downloaded all 3 of the files mentioned above. After the textless fight with the necromancer I just get taken straight back to the demon hunt main menu @_@

  24. Just wanted to stop by and express, how very much i cherish this slave. It is extremely well made, has tons and tons of great content and a theme that fits a game like Slave maker more than any other slaves up to now.
    I was really surprised again and again when i found yet another npc lingering around, yet another action to try and yet another event to discover. And i rejoiced over the events after the fight against scarlet.
    Congrats to creating the most enjoyable experience in a long while.
    And Thank you very much, both to the creator of Slavemaker and the creator of Sakuya.

    2. When images still don't appear I have a couple of thoughts.
      1) Confirm that the text file named SlaveGirl40 actually instructs the game to look for images in the right place.
      The pathway should be: /Images/Slaves/Sakuya
      2) Also make certain that your image file for Sakuya images is actually structured as above. If you have an older version of SlaveGirl40.txt it will have the wrong pathway structure for the image file.
