Slave Maker 3.3 Beta 6

This is the latest beta of Slave Maker 3.3, it ihas under gone a number of iterations. It is less buggy, but some issues remian for minor slaves.

Please note I am aiming for a release of 3.3 next weekend, so you can completely ignore this beta if you like and wait for the new release.

Also note: this version lists beta5 as the version due to an oversight on my part.

note this is an upgrade from version 3.2.06, previous betas are not required.

The addresses most of the reported bugs, a few smaller issues remain
  • lesbian act not renaming right
  • some blank acts
  • some significant issues remain for minor slaves, some blank and some fail to purchase correctly
  • NOTE: forgot to change the version it will still show as beta 5 (sorry)
Added
  • expanded event for spider woman in the secure slave pens (read the current event, see the recommendation). Note just noticed a sex scene is a little broken (missing text) and some birthing events and related are not implemented yet.
  • additional xml variables for slavemaker pregnancy checks

Unless there are major issues here I will aim for a full version 3.3 release next weekend

Note:
I have had a person reporting a number of save/load issues with slaves duplicating and stats resetting. I have been unable to reproduce this, and believed it to be more a flash player issue. Their last post discredits this, but so far no clear idea. If anyone sees odd issues please let me know.

I was kind-of bored lately so I’ve gathered some new images for several of my Assistants and Minor Slaves.

Assistants List: Carrie, Cure Muse, Cure Sunshine, Iliana Elaice, Kaitou Jeanne, Serra, Yukari and Yukiko Amagi.

    There's somekind of bug in start of the game. I couldn't choose ANY slave to train because there were no slaves. It just said "pick a slave". I'm trying to reload if that was caused by a corrupt rar-file

    I got the beta and I found a weird interface bug. After I buy a weapon form the Armory, the text ''she adds the diamond necklace to her jewelry box'' show up. When I bought a second weapon, the Salon (with Skuld) appears to mess everything up. (And my SM got the charisma boost.)

    Also, my assistants do not lock for some reasons… Is all my XMLs coded wrong? I tough it was a ‘Renown’ node with the number required for the assistant to unlock, like 30.

    I’ll also look for others bugs as well.

      If you move the Assistants List a lot, by using the ''More'' button, they change places all the time. It's not a major issue, but still.

      Alright, it make more sense. I still wonder if all the <Renown>X Number</Renown> in my xmls are wrong in some ways. Maybe if I change them for 'Reputation' or 'SMRenowm'?

      For the Wet image, it's a generic image of a other female character from FE because I was not able to find one with Rebecca. (Like the generic images for the Intimacy with Elincia.)

    I started a new slavemaker and for my second slave, I picked Rei (exorcist Rei)
    I saved the game and when I opened it again, I had a different Rei. This one
    had blue hair holding a briefcase in front of her. And all of her stats were
    zero. (I don't remember all stats she had before I saved the game, but I know
    purity was at 50) This new Rei did not have that stat. I deleted the save
    and tried again, but the new Rei took the place of the exorcist Rei. I posted
    this over at the futanari forum but I thought I would post it here in case anyone had noticed the problem. I have beta 6 installed

      How did you manage to get Rei Hino (the exorcist) as your second slave? She needs 60 Renown of the Slave Maker to be trainable. Did you play in sandbox mode (all slaves unlocked)? The other Rei you described look more like the slave Akane (with the briefcase) then Rei Ayanami (blue hair). Weird stuffs. Then again, I’ve seen weird things with the beta. *see all my posts above about bugs*

    I played Bulma as my first slave. None of the events which you usually can
    pick where there. Her images were not there and if you bought her an outfit,
    it did not show up under the "equipment". And if you went back to the tailors,
    it showed that you already owned the dress. I sold her after only 20 days.
    I was penalized for selling the slave early, so I went in and bumped my SM
    renown up to 60 so I could try other slaves. I don't see how this would have
    messed up the changing of the Rei's. The slavemaker's stats are in a different
    folder.

    I create new slavemaker start with Shampoo and asistant Alena, when i load savegame she stop show her picture with base dress, tailor dont sell ani dress only basic swim,maid,lingery and bunny suit, on first contest time my gold vas reset to 0, but when next contest is avaiable, you get gold normal. when Alena ask for gold for work "as per your contract,Alena NaN gold for her services." gold reset again to 0. maybe have i file with errors downloaded, bud if someone have time to try their it.

    1st question: Are the events with Keawe and the demons broken? I have got her all the materials, she has crafted the ring and then she comes home for dinner. There we encounter a demon who i successfully slay, but then the game crashes, saying the script is unresponsive!
    2nd Question: I trained Menace and helped her become a noble despite not getting the golden key (marchioness in exile). Does that have any effect later on? Because the implication was that she would be helpful in court.
    3rd Question: Where do i find the Lord's Daughter, Fiona?

      1) Yes they are, we are awaiting a new version.

      As the event is broken, it will not be included in the 3.3 release.

      2) all of Menaces items are useful

      Arak wll only be futa based on the futa setting you have in Options, first time you meet her it randomly choses her gender based on the setting.

      I have not seen anywhere near enough images to expand her into a slave. I have only 3-4 fuck, masturbate type images that are consistent (white hair) and few other images. As it is I edited the lesbian image from an image by Trystalk

      The pregnancy checks are just to make it easier to check the slave maker pregnancy data. Basically added so your slave maker can birth Arak's eggs a bit easier.

      That's a plus then since I turn off futa/herms from appearing when I play. Most things that are dependent on that option being on tend to break or or that slave's plot/progress will stop (at least, in the older versions--prebeta stuff).

    Sorry if I missed something, but the maker creation system looks exactly the same, is it a beta limitation or that is how the release will be?

    Also, there is a bug with the maker's picture, if an elven origin is selected, an elven picture is chosen and then furry is selected, the image gets messed up. While in the creation screen the elven one will be shown, but once in game a furry one will be there.

    About the naked option for the maker, should it not be paired with an exhibitionist trait?

    By the way, what about using your packages as backgrounds for customization? As I mentioned last time, yielding specific advantages/limitations/event flags.

    As for new maker traits options, how about a bondage addicted trait to pair with the submissive trait, like dominatrix/cruel dominatrix.

      I'll check. Agreed naked should be a feature for exhibitionist, again a bug

    I play SM on and off every once in a while; thus, I forget what the effects of the Rules are without referring to notes.

    Would you consider adding the effects of the rules after their respective descriptions?

    Such as: Talk - (On: N/A; Off: +1 Sensitivity/day, -1 Conversation/day, Cannot Speak) after the basic description?

    Or: Touch Herself - (On: If Lust > 60, then Lust and Temperament -1 /day; Off: +0.5 Lust/day) after the description of the rule.

    Or have them appear when you "up" your slavemaker skill to at least 2?

    Plotwise, I figured that experienced slavemakers should know the effects and consequences of the type of regiment that they would impose on the ones they are training. Gameplay-wise, it's one less thing to look up while playing.

    Again, it's a humble request and not a big deal if it doesn't happen, but it would be nice to see what they are in-game instead of looking at an outside source to see what they are. :)

      rules do not feel like there is any affect for slaves disobeying them or using rules
      adding somthing that would make rules have better affect on slaves or other parts of the game would be nice to see

      example
      rama speaks out with the no rule talking turned off
      options pop up
      punish rama *if you have wip or bondage trait* spank rama.
      warn rama not to speak
      or shove dildo in rama mouth and tell her not to take it out for the rest of the day ^_^
      each choice will affect the stats

    I noticed that with the new action choosing format in the beta, Aeris' options no longer appear (Milking and Use potion.) I would imagine that any other slaves with extra actions would have the same problem. Perhaps this can be addressed for v3.3?

    Maybe I installed it wrong, but the background in my game is having a seizure with the new beta. Dont know if anyone else has had this bug yet, but fyi. Thanks for the hard work!

      remember the beta is an upgrade, it must be installed over an existing 3.2.06 installation.

      I have no such reports otherwise

      I had the same problem, the cause for me was an incomplete download, I downloaded it again, and reapplied it to 3.206 and that fixed it.

    I'm also having the no slaves to choose from problem. There are slaves in the folder. I haven't upgraded(?) and I'm not sure why or how. Would be nice to fix so I could play this and not just anticipate :P
