How to Install or Update the Game

As I have not released a full version of the game since version 3.3.04c I have been getting queries from people on how to get a full version of the game.

To Download and install use either

Torrent
Simplest solution is to download the full torrent using your choice of torrent client. The torrent should hopefully still be seeded. My apologies I am not due to development work I am doing.

To install
none required, but you may wish to move the downloaded folder elsewhere on you harddrive.

or

Download Packs
Download the packs from either the listed filehost links (like rapidshare) or from Love Robin's direct download (note a user name and passworkd is needed and is listed).

To install

a) create a new folder, say Slave Maker.

b) Move or copy all the rar files into that folder.

c) extract all the rar files. DO NOT extract them into subfolders named for the rar files, just extract into the current folder.

I recommend using either WinRar or 7zip to extract the files.

d) this will have created a fully functional game in a subfolder Slave Maker 3.3

Note: if any extracts fail with corrupt files or crc errors you will have to redownload the rar file in question

To upgrade an existing installation
download the latest update

To apply the update

a) copy the file into the game folder Slave Maker 3.3, or the folder containing SlaveMaker3.exe (in case you renamed the folder or moved it)

b) extract the archive, again DO NOT extract it into a subfolder, and overwrite any files when asked.

That is it you should have a fully playable game with the latest official patches.

Note: there are still bugs in the latest official version Sorry! I am work on another fix.

Slave Maker 3.3.04e (revision 3)

Update 3.3.04e (revision 3)

This is a fix for version 3.3.04e to correct a critical bug and a couple of small other bugs.

• Fix people and places reverting to the start of game. People no longer available and so on. Caused by a typo in the load process
• fix an xml typo that prevents some events working while walking
• fix another xml typo that prevented a maid cafe image showing
• fix an issue where some images in a few events did not show (say the meeting with Tena where she gives the strap-on)
• a fix/improvement of purchasing minor slaves
• fix strip tease images not showing for some slaves

There are no new features otherwise in this release,
EXCEPT
 I had not noted for the original 3.3.04e that the "Show Vanilla" checkbox when selecting slaves now also affects assistants. If you do not have it ticked then assistants classed as "vanilla" (ie little or no custom features) are not shown.

I have some reports of people seeing blank events or ones without text. In one case I believe this is caused by a bug with Aeris when you use her as an assistant.

NOTE: I have posted versions of this fix in comments in the previous post and at the futanari Palace. This one has some fixes not in those previous postings. So even if you downloaded the fix previously I recommend still downloading and installing the partial fix below.

Installation (full and partial)
Move the download rar file into your game installation and then extract it, overwriting files when prompted.

For the torrent just copy the files/folder in the Slave Maker 3.3 folder into your game installation.

EDIT
there is a bug I just noticed (and fixed) if you try loading an very old save game (before 3.3) then the game will hang loading the save.
 Also the load issue this update fixes is still present so a new fix is pending

Furry Brothel
A while ago Drekas99 released an event, the Furry Brothel and this has been included in recent releases of the game. There were some problems with the event, including language issues as Drekas99 is not a native english speaker I believe.

Chaos-X, the developer of Mariya, Kanako, Ringo, Mao in the game updated the event and rearranged it to produce a new version, one he has released as Open Source and has invited contributions.

I have not seen any posts or comments from you recently. I will not include Chaos-X's version in the game until I hear from yourself that you approve. Or if you fail to respond for a while.

Please let me know if this is acceptable. If I do not hear from you before the 3.3.05 release I will assume it is acceptabe to use Chaos-X's version of the event.

 Updates for Ariel and Lightning were also released by they appear to just be xml fixes that I included in the last bugfix anyway.

The vanilla version of Holo should have an update ready soon.


Game Status
Another bugfix 3.3.04e should be released soon, and correct a remaining pregnancy issue and a number of other bugs, and add some minor new features and events.

Assuming I add nothing signficant bugwise this will be the last of the 3.3.04 series and I will work on 3.3.05 release


Desired Game Features
At the Futanari Palace I have been asking people to let me know what new features people want to have me focus on developing in the game. If you wish to comment please visit the forum and post as well.

Otherwise the commonest requests have been

• Complete backgrounds and events that are incomplete
• More Lady Grey
• more content for the Slave Maker, for instance things to do between training slaves

I will be using this feedback to prioritise what to work on for the game in the next release (and later releases too)
