you backup the SlaveMaker3.exe/swf/app just in case you wish to
revert back to the original. Also save to a new save game (you can
load an existing save)

The point of Susano-O's island still escapes me. It seems like nothing in particular is designed yet. I mean, Susano-O is the God of seas and storms, so personally I don't think a clear path to his namesake island should be so straightforward.
ReplyDeletePerhaps for some reason he is displeased and blocks the passage to the island until he is appeased? It could also affect the usage of the beach which might expedite a solution for some players. Also the docks may be affected, dangerous ground for those that use the barge or galleon as a home.
This event should only trigger if you book passage to the island.
Of course the opposing temple to the one you follow (or if you chose No Gods, it would choose at random between the two) and blame you for this mess.
The only question is which pantheon Susano-O is part of. Is he an Old or a New God? Let me just say that this should not actively force you to believe in any particular religion, but should present you the option to do so or (if you follow his pantheon) allow you to become a disciple of Susano-O, similar how Benten appears before you.
I have no idea of the quest that should ensue or why he'd be upset as I don't know enough about Susano-O.
The point of the island was more a proof of concepts to add the idea of multiple maps for a given city. After that it became the place to obtain the minor slave Elena.

When writing the New Gods I was taking inspiration from the Japanese and Celtic gods, but did not stay stringently on their origins (more or less impossible for the Celtic case)

Thank you so much Cmac for the game. I'm sure that when you get back you will have already seen this "spam" but I really love the game and all of the work that you've put into it. I would love to be able to keep playing. Here's the bug I have: GAME BREAKING BUG: When using the swf file on a mac, I cannot walk in the main city. I get to the screen with the main city while walking, but there are no locations available to click. Additionally, the game doesn't let you save or load from that point. Therefore, I"m missing out on tons of events. Do you know of a fix?

In general it sounds like the Language folder is incomplete.
I suggest re-download the 3.5.01 update and reapply to your game.
If this does not help download the Basic Pack, merge it with your game installation, then re-apply the 3.5.01 update

After you beat Lady Grey enough times and she marries you, she has no images in the minor slaves menu or when interacting with her. Don't know if this is a known thing or not, so I just thought I might mention it.

First time I choose Dunmyre as my city and the story happened normally, however when there is a stage that Adisa ask player go to private zone of the beach, the story stucked,becasue Dunmyre's beach have no private zone. Then I made a new save in the Mardukane, but this time, the story doesnt happen(I have chosen to open this story in the begining of training 1st slave).so I wanna know is there any limit about this story line? IS this story can only happen in the 1st slave?
you need to trigger it in the first map. you need at least a minor noble or your slave bust is bigger than 90. and according to the wiki u need at least 50 charisma on ur SM. and then just go relax at the sleazy bar until count gossem talks to you and ask ur slave to visit him. go visit him and say yes when he ask ur slave to drink the breast enlargement potion. wait a view days, visit him once more , and lend ur slave to him at the night you visited him. and then just wait for a few days and voila. the lacatation event will started :)

DeleteI don't think there is any progression for it yet, given that there is no "Cow Trainer" skill at present.

ReplyDeleteUh hi just found your game and really want to try it out, but I need some help in installing it. I am using a mac and have downloaded SlaveMaker 3.5 from Torrent and don't really know what the next step is. especially for a mac. Or if it is even possible.
ReplyDeleteget 3.5.01 then copy whats in the 3.5.01 folder to your slavemaker 3.5 folder, overwrite say yes, then try use the exe or the flash of the slavemaker game :D....this should work if not i'll leave you to cmacleod

DeleteI don't know if anyone have mentioned this yet, but when I set the difficulty to 'Easy' in 'Option' during the slaver creation, the 'Tentacle Hybrid?' in 'Special Events' of 'Advance' disappeared ('Ex-Cow' Girl moved up and became no.5 instead) and it didn't came back even if the difficulty is set to 'Normal' again. Only when I delete the save files in /C:Document.../ did it came back.

DeleteIt's not exactly a bug. Easy doesn't allow a certain tick-box to be active. When you switched to easy it ticked-off and stayed that way. When you wiped the save files you wiped the options along with them. And that's what "brought it back". All you really had to do though, was taking a better look at your options screen and ticking the box on yourself.
The lack of that tick is what removes the said "background" from the list. Strangely it doesn't affect the other related "background". Go figure...
I didn't update my game for some time but I found no mention of this issue in your posts, so I'll report it here. Please ignore me if it's already corrected.
ReplyDeleteThis is a bug that's been there forever and I'm surprised it hasn't been corrected yet as far as I know, thought it might be because it's third party content or something. It's simple, I'd even correct it myself if I had the tools (flash and stuff): with Sakura Haruno (pink-haired girl from Naruto), some futanari pics appear even she's not a dickgirl and you have the dickgirl option turned off. Try the "blowjob" option repeatedly and you will see what I mean.

Sakura was developed by NarutoXD and these issues are very likely a bug for her not the core game itself

DeleteHai - really enjoying the new version and the patch seems to have indeed solved most issues :) (and I'm particularly happy the interactions with Lady Grey are more developed)
ReplyDeleteJust a few minor things I'd like to point out, if you feel like looking at them:
1) The dialogue display in the events related to the cowgirl Shizuku (if I recall the name right) is still a bit buggy - the same thing is usually repeated at least 2 times in every window.
2) I just ended training Shinji (male), and I find it a bit confusing that sex-related descriptions are more or less the same for male as for female slaves - e.g. there's the "Blowjob" stat with the usual description "skill at sucking cocks", etc. - wouldn't it be more logical and consistent to change it to "Cunnilingus" and adjust the descriptions accordingly? After all, gay training is a whole separate skill, so I think it makes sense to make the descriptions more "hetero" if he's not in gay training (especially that I'm playing as a female slave maker, and there's most definitely more female than male characters in the game in general...).
3) I remember that when sending a slave naked to the library, after they're given a book to read it was described that the librarian is giving them oral sex at the same time. This has been gone for a while now and there's only the quote from the "book", was it removed intentionally or is it a bug?
And completely different but:
4) I've noticed that when being "intimate" with a minor slave, licking them/giving them a blowjob increases rather than decreases their lust, and 69 in general increases lust of both the slave maker and slave. I've always found that a bit confusing - it's clearly said when licking/sucking the current slave that it's "not to orgasm", but I thought in those cases it should rather decrease lust.
didn't look at 1/2/3 but as for 4, wouldn't being held at the breaking point yet not having a orgasm increase your lust?, its to make the slave more willing for such activities as she will crave it more for release?, that's my guess anyway
DeleteWhile training Akane she got Cowgirl Ending even though I 'go to the lord' without 'agreeing to wait' long ago. From what I could see, it seems to count 'work at theatre' as 'go for treatment' for some reason. And there is an image of Akane being milked behind the theatre image. (I tried completing the training prematurely and get the appropriate ending, but when I 'work at theatre' many times and then complete the training I got the Cowgirl ending.)

ReplyDeleteI've installed 3.5.02 as I thought that would fix it up (it was occurring in 3.5.01) but to no avail.
I pick a Female SM and click "Old Gods" and continue through to the customisation screen and find "Witch" to be grayed out. So I cycle back to the character select screen and it defaults back to Male and New Gods.
Just for giggles, I decided to check up to see if "Pagan" could be selected... and it is. It's as if the Female SM screen forgets that I picked "Old Gods" before hitting "Advanced".
What's going on here?

DeleteYou can still select witch with the correct birth detail.
Only 2 of them allow it, and that is even a part of their description.
I really don't get why the character has to be born somewhere specific to be a witch (or a trader for that matter...), or why one has to be a witch to ""make" potions", but I'm not the one making those rules...
That said, I'm the one breaking them ;P
Get an older executable or older swf. Put it into the same place as the current one (rename the current temporarily). Make your witch however you like. Then swap the files back, chose new game and click the "use last" button. That should load up the character that was done by the old rules.
Don't see much of a balance reason for that restriction either.
"Make potions" is only marginally advantageous compared to the wide selection of other jobs you can easily get. And it doesn't make much sense to tie it down to witch instead of allowing it for all alchemists anyway.
So basically you're giving away 5 points for nothing much other than a fancy title. From balance side, to saddle a background restriction on top of that is just wrong.
Not that the balance is in a any shape to be considered...
I am just now trying out 3.5 and the update and found something that may be a mistake in the update. Instead of just transferring the files over from the update, overriding all, I like to check to see what changes are being made out of curiosity. I found some differences in some replacement files which may (or may not) cause a problem.
ReplyDeleteIn the update, Images/Appearance/Human/Dickgirl 2 adds a bunch of new images to the folder. However, I noticed some of the files have different file types. Appearance 1.jpeg was added and thus did not overwrite Appearance 1.jpg. Two other files are also .jpeg.
Dickgirl 6 also added Appearance 1.png and thus did not overwrite Appearance 1.jpg. One of the other files added is also .jpeg instead of .jpg like the rest.
When selecting 'lesbian' for night actions, what triggers the message 'women are for serving hermaphrodites and their cocks. We will not do this sort of training."
