Please excuse the lack of an update for a little while. My personal life has been troublesome recently.
I have not been too motivated to work on the game much, just some small bug fixes, some work on Holo, but most new features on hold for a little while. A few small tweaks for twin type slaves, to allow you to select them to do some acts together or separately (eg fuck or 69)

General note on status for the update
1. I have most images sorted out for all events and transformations.
I am doing some edits of existing images for cases where there are no images exactly needed available, so as you see there were very few bondage images for male Ranma. There were very few sex images for male AND femal Ranma (ie Ranma + Ranko), and not many for the various chores.
Note for edits: Bondage image is a head-paste as is the Read image. The other is a colour-in + add ponytail.
I am quite happy at how the read image came out, and I also think the bondages image is good
The revision will feature transformations (in addition to the standard ones)

- customised lend/vist actions for Miss N, Lady Okyanu and Sumi
I plan to post a interim/alpha version soonish once I have the stat/transformation working robustly. I will probably post this at the Futanari Palace when ready.

I had not planned that. I change the name when they transform to twins, so do distinguish male/female version I name then Ranma and Ranko.
DeleteIn the manga/anime the name Ranko was used as a cover name when Ranma was hiding from his mother, pretending not to be Ranma. In this story for the game she knows from the start.

ReplyDeleteI'd wondered about that too. If Nodoka is coming to stay, is corrupting Nodoka to accept that Ranma is a girl with a master going to be possible?
DeleteNodoka in this will already know Ranma is female, and had reacted differently in the past.
DeleteSo she wants Ranma to be a good slave, initially assuming a female slave. And she wants Ranma to be HER good slave, but she does not own Ranma and is quite poor.
Things will get more complex if you enable incest in the game
I hope Futa Nodoka impregnating ranma is a thing.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say, that something is wrong with Slave pack 6.
I deleted and reinstalled everything 3 times, and I found out that it was Slave pack 6 that is causing it.
Yes there are still some glitches, but almost all of them are caused by that slave pack. At least with the other packs, almost ALL the slaves don't disappear.
Have you applied the latest update after installing Slave Pack 6?
DeleteIn the update is a fix for some xml that can prevent slaves appearing, notably for Tohsaka

DeleteIn my latest game (updated to the latest version) some slaves have appeared with no images (Rikku and Katara) while others have been fine (Eri, Asuka, Snowy, Ariel, Elesa). Similarly a few minor slaves have image issues (Grimhilde and Zorua).

I am running 3er3, but cannot find the assistants images anywhere, I have images for Rikku and Katara but they are not loaded.

The slaves.rar seems to help although I have not checked all slaves, the minor slaves Grimhilde and Zorua still have issues, even after I re-installed SlavePack6

I realize that height is a totally redundant feature

ReplyDeleteStill having that issue with Slaver pics during character creation. They either show up as blank white windows, or stick on a pic that I'm trying to get past. And then when going to the Guild/Freelancer selection screen, one of them shows up on it.
I tried to get onto FP earlier, but it was on another 503 Error walkabout.

503 errors are quite regular for the palace, but try again later and it works

I have a problem with certain slaves in slave pack #7. When i have to chose a slave to train they appear just fine but when i train them they have no images. It is just a white screen instead of their image.

DeleteIf you are missing folders for Moka or Katara then you do not have a valid version of Slave Pack 7, the pack contains the folders.

Hey, sorry to bother everyone, but I have a glitch where the description for slave-maker assistants defaults back to "slave maker for hire." I know it's apparently a known glitch, but I can't seem to find out how to fix it, and I -really- don't want to sift through thousands of comments just to find nothing. Anyone know what's what? It's not game-breaking, but it bothers me more than it should.

DeleteI have that same glitch, and I have SM3.3.04e. It even happened to Nagisa. One thing that I keep forgetting to ask is this: Is there any way to eliminate the grayscale mask over the Slaver Pics? The one that I use for Tabrit has the mask, yet has a color thumbnail. Wierd.

I though that issue was fixed. I'll recheck this issue.
DeleteSome images for the slave makers are in grey scale, I though that best originally, but the newer ones are in colour. If they are in grey, then that is all I have distributed with the game. I do not colour versions of the images and I should proabably update to the colour versions now.
In general, not well, both health and mood, and sorry for little contact about Holo/Nagisa I will in a few days,
I'm also using the latest and greatest version, along with all the packs. However, the XML files still contain the descriptions for the assistants, so I could just look there.
DeleteAnother tidbit: It lists -all- assistants as vanilla as well. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

Yes, there can. I've worked in software development in the past and know that it's possible to have cut-off points to release a full version.
DeleteHopefully, cmac is using a subversion program of some sort to make it so he cuts down on development time and keeps track of which files have and haven't been modified since the last full release. If he's not, I don't know how he's able to get updates out as quick as he does while still keeping errors down to a minimum.

I meant like...a new "base game" download. One that has all the previous updates. I'm honestly more interested in having a full, functional version than one that has a lot of new stuff but is prone to include many bugs, know what I mean? The last "Full" thing release I have is "3.3-Complete Pack+ MIA", which was a loooong time ago. I remember it still had some bugs with Lady Grey and there was an update for that, but it didn't really work in my version...anyways, since that day I've been waiting for the new complete version of the game, so I can start over with all the new... ehnacements ;)

Delete(S)He has a point. Updating practice for projects that are continuously progressing is nothing new. And from time to time there are the "latest full versions" being released here.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong here, is that "full versions" are often released after major updates, which often introduce a large amount of bugs, which require several subsequent bug-fixing updates, so in the end, the user never really gets a stable and easy to install full version.
I'd recommend to restructure the cycle to "big update -> Fixing updates -> "big release" -> next big update ->..."
Generally speaking the audience that wants "full version" is the audience that wants a stable and easy to use version. And then there are "Impatient" people these are the ones that crave updates and unpolished features. These are the ones that do most of the testing. Such division is why the development usually follows the "stable->new->fixes->stable" updating practices.
I can add from a personal experience (as someone who prefers to stick to the stability with this particular project) that I've been keeping this game "on hold till a stable release" for a long time.
How to obtain Nobility level 3, i have no idea, the place of add points is hidden.

There is no general way to do it.
DeleteThere is one limited case, but it is not my intention or design, but it you have Nobility 2 and then train Bulma, one of the wishes you can get from the Dragon Balls will increase your Nobility.
Hi. I'm talking about the old bug with the slave maker images during character creation. It seems that if i leave the standard settings its all fine, but if i add a pair of images for slavers, it automatically shoot out the bug. I've tried to rename correctly, resize correctly and even to add new folder for every image. ES: male 1, male 2. Anyone knows any fix for this?
ReplyDeleteOne thing you can do is add your own images to the folder, or make a new folder. The only real requirement is to name each image so that the game reads it right, and file format is irrelevant as long as it's an image file (the game ignores file extensions like .jpeg or .png and displays the image if it can be displayed as an image).
DeleteAll slaver images are found in /images/appearances and you can find which one the game is using based on which one you picked when you made your slaver.
Personally, my slavemaker is a female of the True Catgirl race, so I made my own folder. The folders in /images/appearances/true catgirl/ goes up to Female 4, so I made a new folder before creation called Female 5, put a few images in (need at least one image named Appearance 1), and selected that folder upon creating my slaver. By doing this, I don't meddle with something that's already there by default and I can use my own pics for my own slaver (which just happens to be Renamon). :P
What bug is happening for you? All issues for slave maker images resetting are fied in the current release.

I've tried to add images to the respective folders. Example: dark elf, female, appearance 1, appearance 2 ec... but the bug was still there. So i've tried to add new folders like female 5, female 6 ec... and the bug was still on once again!

DeleteSorry for not explaining that well. The bug i'm talking about manifests itself when i go through the slaver creation. Pressing the arrow buttons, it cause the images to go into a random "appear and disappear" mode. Thanks for your patience by the way.
DeleteOh, I think I know what you mean. I think when scrolling through the images on the creation screens it'll sometimes come up as a blank white image.
DeleteBest thing I can suggest is wait until you're on Advanced Creation and you've picked your race (and maybe if you're Human click another race and then go back to Human) and then just go back and forth until it shows the character you want. I think it's pointing to the correct folders right if you know the order they go in, but it's kinda hard to tell if it's only showing a white image.

There is nothing in any of the game releases that prevent saves working.
DeleteHow do you mean you cannot save? Do they not appear?
Please note that saves a flash cookies and anything that prevents or deletes cookies will remove the saves. Also any browser setting you have that prevent cookies will also stop/delete saves
Is "Limit Saving" checked in your options? It'll prevent you from saving unless you're on a contest day.

DeleteThis issue is purely some program deleting your cookies. The game saves fine, but something deletes them.
DeleteYou must of installed a program that wipes cookies from yuor syste, or changed your browser serttings to not allow cookies.

DeleteUn, where is the events of Slave maker?, i see in old version. One example is when my slave maker work trade goods, and a woman appeared and had to choose to have sex or not, this was the early days of the beginning of the game
ReplyDeleteYou'll need to have your assistant supervise your slave's activities so your slavemaker can do slavemaker-only activities. It's the button near that top which changes from assistant supervision to personal supervision, and then you select activites.
DeleteWhat activities your slavemaker can do depends on your background, while other can be unlocked. Trade goods, for example, is if you have the Expert Trader background (which is availble only for humans and true catgirls only, I think).
A lot of the other events can happen when you take a walk, as lots of random things happens when you visit various locations.
