Extract to your Slavemaker 3 folder, the images folder should go in Images and the other files in Events. If Events4.txt already exists then add &Event-Catgirl.xml to the end of its contents.
Slavemaker v3.3.1 is required.
This is a collection of small tweaks to the game for those of us who like to train catgirls.
The first day of running the module you will get a prompt asking you if you think catgirls can become cumsluts.If you say no then any catgirls who go for cumslut declaration will be told that this is perfectly natural as they are cat slaves, & cats love 'cream' and they will be not become cumsluts. This is a one time event - answer yes if you want Cumslut declarations to be unaffected.
If you have Level 2 Cattraining skill Benten will appear in the night and offer for you to become her devotee. This will increase your SM's conversation unless it is at 100 or you have blunt, and the first time you Pray at Church each day your slave gets a small boost to singing or dancing or conversation selected at random, and give you discounts on Singing lessons and Catitems (which you will receive automatically for each new slave). If you agree and you are not a follower of the New Gods your religion will change.
Other effects of the module are to add text to acts that provide "cream", and allow the minor slave Sana to assist cattraining, wearing a cattail without having Anal Plug skill mastered tires the slave and catgirl assistants add Meow! to their speech (this last is a bit erratic, I'd like to know if any inappropriate Meows turn up

8 weapons, all of them are Nodachi, they are part of a set i call the nodachi of chaos, i just implemented them in the store in preparation as a teaser for a long quest that will make you chase them.
In their description you will note that they are suposed to have elemental powers, unfortunately the game currently do not support elemental bonus, if Cmac is willing to implement that into combat fighting, i will gladly update them with the elemental value they deserve.

Expect to pay 6000 gold, base value for a nodachi, and 15000 gold for an Armor (i know that anyone with a little knowledge of xml modification can easily modify the price, i just hope you won't do it, as the only effect would be to render the game even more easy than it already is).

Now, I’ve an important question to ask to all the Slave Maker players out here: Are my Assistants overpowered? I’m asking this because I got a request from a slave developer to lower their effects. I won’t mention his name out of respect for his works and I’m a big fan of his slaves, so... I almost released them with lowered effects but, while editing their XMLS, I’ve noticed that they are NOT so game-breaking. Now I know that Cure Moonlight and Lena ARE pretty much overpowered, but it has been done on purpose. Why? Simple, they need 100 Renown to hire. You start with 10 Renown, unless you play with your stats in Advanced Creation, and the max Renown you can get per Slave is 5. So, to get 100 Renown, you need to train 18 Slaves with good endings and without losing Renown by selling your slaves illegally, refusing Lady Grey duel, etc. Now, I think that an Assistant that need 18 Slaves to train before hiring just need to be powerful, and their prices are not cheap either. Also, yes, +40% to a bunch of stats seem overpowered, but it all varies according to the Slave Blood Type. The ‘Blood Type Affinity’ effects have been created in mind to give the Slave/Assistant Blood Type some ‘value’ in-game, and not just a stat. The Affinity effects are 10% (min) to 40% (max). So, unless you try to always match the Blood Type between the slave and the assistant (does anyone do that?), you won’t always get +40%. Now, some Assistants do give a boost to the Special Stat. I’ve always wondering if that makes the game too easy, since most endings required to max the Special Stat. However, it could also make it much harder, with the slaves Mokoto and Morrigan.
So, to sum it up, I would like to know your opinion about it. If most players agree that they are overpowered, I would be glad to decreases their effects and/or to remove the Special Stat boost. But if most think that they are find the way there are, then I apologize to the slave developer for his request, but I won’t touch theirs effects.
Hello, before I say something to the topic, I would want to say something in general.
DeleteMaybe it’s just me, but I would like to see such discussions about changing something started by the person that is requesting them and not to burden this onto the person that has done the developing so far. Also I do not quite understand what the problem is with the possibility for people to make the game easier (and maybe more enjoyable) for themselves. Reminds me of the case where a developer decided to make his slave non playable as freelancer with just the argument it would be too easy, because you can reach “every” goal with unlimited time to play. Of course it is the developers’ decision to do so and also his/her decision if he/she will do the work and release his/her work! But is it that bad that some people just like to enjoy the game and choose just for themselves how easy or hard it should be? Should one person really decide what is enjoyable for everyone? I don’t thinks so. At least if you wish to decide for everyone have the guts to say so in public!
BACK TO TOPIC
MIA like you already said it is not easy to get your “easy going Assistants” and to that point your slave maker makes it just by his own stats much easier to train every slave. Of course it gets with your assistant even less difficult, but that is the idea or not? Just think about real life you work maybe 30 years in one branch it is just natural that work gets easier for you and that you get to know people that have the same knowledge as you, and working in a team will make it even easier. Also it is not like your assistants are the only ones in the game, so if I personally think ‘that it is too easy’ I just do not use them. I do not see any need to destroy your, so far good, work!
Maybe it would be a good idea for cmac to add a flag which makes it possible to blockade assistant of a specific renown level (and above?) to get rid of such a problem for the slave developer, but like I said before where ends the control of the developer and where starts the control of the player.

DeleteEasier is not always more enjoyable. For an extreme, can make it one-button to be able to do anything, and it'd pretty much turn SM3 into a non-game. The balance between making players feel powerful and give each hurdle crossed a sense of accomplishment is difficult to achieve.

May want to phrase the question way: The maximum Slave Trainer effect is 75% bonus (Lv.4), so should any (relatively easy to obtain) Assistant give 40% bonus? That looks like more than 2 levels worth, which requires a few slaves trained to obtain.
Second way to phrase the question: How much maximum (static and percentage) total bonus from Assistants and should be available from the combination of Assistants and Minor Slaves? How much of that bonus should come from any Assistant, given the difficulty set in obtaining Assistants and Minor Slaves?
There are no 'right' answers, but those two questions may provide some guidance.

DeleteNow about the Assistants, I did the math and I came up with 12-15 Main Slaves to get your Renown to 100 with fighting Lady Grey, and even by then you should have ALL your stats to 100 (other then Lust, Tiredness, and Corruption), after that why not have the option to have a Assistant that makes thing easyer, no one is forced to use them! I may never use them, but I'm not going to say to nerf them just cuz I don't wanna use them!
O, and can you give Lethe a Love Confession, I'd love to keep her by My side since she is 1 of the few real catgirls!

The whole thing is that I don’t really mind to lower their effects but I don’t want to scrap the whole Blood Type affinity system. So, there are not a lot of choices. Either leaving the % boost as-is and removing some other things, like the Singing/Dancing/Special Stat boost, or lowering the % to 5-10-15-20. However, I do not think that is possible to code a 5% or a 15% in XML. I’ve try it and it decrease the stat instead of increasing it. So, I’m kind-of stuck and I don’t want to cause a huge fight between me and some devs, since we all working to give some cool add-ons to the Slave Maker game, be it a slave, a assistant, some new weapons etc. I also do not which to stop, embarrasses, or even block anyone who wishes to contribute to this awesome game because of some ‘overpowered’ effects.
DeleteSM imo currently doesn't have much I'd call "difficulty". For some things luck is necessary (sometimes you meet three fairies in a week and sometimes you can't get that **** apron for months...), but everything else is just a matter of how often you repeat "action that improves stat x". All you do with assistants is decrease the amount of time it takes, making things a bit more comfortable - especially after training a dozen slaves, having them do the same thing over and over again gets really tedious and ultimately boring. SM shouldn't be an Asian grind game ^^

DeleteWell the thing is I spent a game week of day and nigth of nothing but intimacy with her and did not see 1 bit of heart, in that amount time other Assistants/Minor Slaves have given a Love Confession, but nothing form Lethe! So I tryed adding the love stat to her and it started working (after I started a new game that is), so Lethe needs the love stat! I'd also would like the Custom text, pic, ect, for Lethe, and if you can find it a Pregnancy Reveal would also be nice, I know how hard it is to find them, but since every Assistant/Minor Slave can now be Pregnant it would be nice to have it, just don't add the Fertility stat, for some reason when they have it contraceptives don't work!
DeleteFor blood types, if your forced to cut down there effects you can always go with 2 or 3 on 10% and the other on 20%! And game makers putting items with overpowered or underpowered effects in don't tened effect wether or not people try to make there own addons, being a good a game and a easy enough to use construction set do! Look at T.E.S. 3/4/5 and Fallout 3/NV, both sets have a Construction Set, both sets have over 100,000 mods each game, both sets have good games (ok, not so mush for Morrowind and NV, Morrowind for game killing bugs on the xbox, and NV, well there is a reason they did not have the balls to call it GOTY)! Hell, Morrowinds been out for 10 years, and there still making mods for it!
Ok, I’ve found some pic for the Love Confession Event, but not for the pregnancy. I’ll add the Love stat and I’ll see if I can come up with some custom text, with all the variants (male, female, hermaphrodite + if you’re a True Catgirl or not).

DeleteExtract the .rar or .zip files. Then, put all the files into the SlaveMaker game main folder.
For Imari and Leona:
There is a file called 'SlaveGirl58.txt' and 'SlaveGirl57.txt' into Imari and Leona folders. All you have to do is to right click on them, select 'Rename File', and change the name to 'SlaveGirl74.txt' and 'SlaveGirl75.txt'.

ReplyDeleteOk man listen, i can speak russian but there aren't much developers/modders that can translate all that stuff. If devs will do that then good, but i think they will concentrate their awesome work on developing and correcting bugs/make fixes and adding new stuff. Since the most of us can speak or understand English good enough to play the game without problems, than translations should be a side work with a low priority, always in my opinion. I apologize if someone is offended by this but, as i said this is my own opinion.

DeleteI tried to increase Anal Plug skill to level 1 for non-catgirl. Tiredness didn't increase at morning. I think that game considers all slaves as catgirls with equipped tails - that's the bug

ReplyDeleteI'd just like to note that the combing folders thing doesn't work with mac, it overwrites instead.
ReplyDeleteFor example: I copied the Basic Pack/Slave Maker 3.3 to the Location I wanted it in, then I tried to copy the Assistant Pack/Slave Maker 3.3 folder there as well, instead of just fusing the Assistants and Images packs, it overwrote the whole Slave Maker 3.3 folder so there were only the Assistants and Images folders.
So as a warning, Mac users have to copy the stuff within the folders, not just the folders.
Or, use the 'ditto' command from Terminal.

ReplyDeleteEven before using the cat-girl tweaks, during a whole game I was always losing versus Lady Gray, even though my weapon skill was at 100.

DeleteAfter a save and a reload, Cora is making her report properly again, I don't understand why. The only thing I changed is the edit to the catgirl event xml that is mentioned above. That shouldn't have had any effect on Cora.

Melisandra will only appear after Minako is trained. Also, she's now .swf based, so she does not have a image folder.

DeleteIt fixes the tiredness problem, changes the Benten event to grant holy in very special circumstances and customises sex acts Sana takes part in. Note this latter may not work if the main slave or another module is customising the acts. Also thanks to Cryosaur's Hack add-on (included) becoming Benten's devotee now enables the Catgirls are Common option (Catgirl event frequency goes up from 40% to 60%).BTW You may think you've already enabled it in options but unfortunately the option isn't staying set when closing the game - this gets round that by re-enabling it each morning.
After combining in with the 3rd party updates and tab00's pack, Ada, Akizuki and Anesthesia are missing from the slave market.
ReplyDeleteAlso (once again) even though I picked freelancer, some of the girls I trained already came with owners (not including Naru, Shampoo, and Ryo) after I trained/sold Naru first, i.e. Snow white, Ariel, Akane, Rogue, Kasumi. Only one that didn't get a pre-determined owner was Riesz so far and it was after I sold (properly up to the deadline) all of the previous girls mentioned. Is this a bug from picking a slave that has a deadline first or is it b/c I have 100 renown stat (which I doubt it is since it happened even with 0 renown)? Can someone plz look into this?

a) editing the configuration xml
b) or in the xml itself
For both try opening the files using a browser (forefox works best) or an xml valitator
@Chaoswings I just merged the folders together. For the 3rd party update, I merged and overwrited the already existing files (if needed) and made sure to rename the xmls for Leona and Imari.
Delete@cmac That's not exactly what I asked about. Before this 3rd party update thing, the loli pack and all the other minor slaves were working properly (cept Rhia and Mint, but that issue is on tab00's side and is already being addressed in his thread). When I tried adding in the 3rd party updates (after I redownloaded the whole game again b/c I missed the instructions for Leona and Imari.), the girls i mentioned in my first post does not appear anymore.

DeleteWhen I finish training a slave, the bonus gold payment from the remaining slave's gold does not transfer over. For instance, If slave master has 1000 gold, and slave has 10000 gold, there should be a 10% transfer at the end of training to give the master 2000 gold total. The text at the end says you receive this money, but you really dont.

DeleteI also don't seem to get any money for training the slaves either. For example it says the sale price is agreed to be 1310 gold, but this does not add to the slavemaker's total. Is it because of Love ending? Will bought back ending also not give this gold?
Does slavemaker background have anything to do with this? Characteristics I have are: Inhuman ancestry, wealthy, weapon master, convincing, exhibitionist, sex addict, holy, masochist, and all sex items. home town is dark elven capital and house is Mansion, and religion is No Gods.
Both bought back and love ending give you no money as you keep the slave.

What I can see form a quick look, it's Dress Plain, most Endings, most Contests, and the text in her intro! Leona seams to be missing some ending pics too! If that is what your talking about then it's not just you, if it's all your Main Slaves have gone missing when you get done with them, then that is a big bug, ether way I don't think you did anything worng!

I'm having difficulty with Chaoswings 3rd party update. The slave maker images work fine, but I can't seem to get the weapons or armor to work properly. They don't show up in the game at all. Is there some way to combine the game's original config with "configuration2" that you get with the update? Or maybe there is an obvious answer I've overlooked?
ReplyDeleteConfiguration2.xml goes into the root folder of slavemaker.
DeleteMake sure you accepted the fusion of folder for the ".\Language\English\" folder, so that the two xml are present into the folder along the others.
Make sure you accepted the fusion of the folder for the ".\Images\Items\Armour\" and ".\Images\Items\Weapons" folders and that the images i provided are present inside of them.
Well normally if you just uncompressed it inside of the root folder of slavemaker, and accepted every fusion of folders there shouldn't be any problem, since i recreated the directory especially to prevent these kind of case.
Note the configuration2.xml is only supported since the version 3.3, the previous version do not support that function, if you have not yet updated to 3.3, please do it, as i don't plan on creating other support files compatible with previous version of the game.

In generaly I do not want guns, artillery in the game where possible, unless there is a clear explanation (extra-dimensional find, very rare magic device etc)

While looking at Catherine’s XML, I’ve found a lot of typos I had forget to fix before release. The worse was when I wrote ’past’ instead of ‘part’ during the first nightmare event, so there is a fix for that. The French XML got some events translated as well.

I was just thinking that you could still use Mami as an NPC, but with another name (or I could change mine to 'Tomoe Mami' or something). After all, we do have the Barmaid Sora (based of Asuka), the slave Asuka, and the minor NPC ‘Asuka’ during Menace’s training at the Onsen. There is also the minor opponent Dark Magician Girl in the Arena (still in Menace training), and the slave Dark Magician Girl. The Assistants and the Minor Slaves Ilyana and Yukiko count as well. Oh, and I cannot forgot the cool Alice NPC in Heather training, plus my Alice Assistant. So, why not a second Mami as NPC?

ReplyDeleteI made a true catgirl and used Dickgirl 1 apperence, but every time I start the game up again it changes my picture to Human Female 1. This happens every time.
This is an old bug. It happens only with inhuman slavers. If you choose the human slave maker (born in mordukane, old faith stronghold, country town or caravan), then you shouldn't get this type of bug. I have a dark elf dickgirl and i always get this issue after loading a game or after some event. When i came to know of this bug i've immediately created a new humean slaver and i haven't encountered this bug anymore, so until this bug is corrected, try to use human to avoid this annoying issue.

download the torrent files from the filehost archive. extract anywhere you like. Open with your client and either
a) have your torrent client install into the folder for you game. Most torrent clients allow this

b) have the client download and then move the files into your game installation

DeleteWell, her version included Bestiality and that is not allowed in Slave Maker, unless the player have the choice to disable it, like with Menace. So Nami is not included with the game. Someone should really work on a no-Bestiality version of her...

1) Assistant is Shena
2) Personal Training Selected
3) Yurika is a half-demon (wings and tail)
4) Yurika is in Cat-girl training (first stages)
5) Yurika has visited Astrid 4 times
6) After choosing 'refuse' when Astrid demands her sale, and defeating Astrid, I'm given the choices of a) Free Astrid or b) Let the Girls have Astrid. Either choice results in the same error - A blank screen an no event text. And the 'work for Astrid' button doesn't appear under planning when you make the related choice.

ReplyDeleteSo far I have really enjoyed the 3.3.01 version, and thank you for all your hard work on it! Now, as it's a work in progress, I have a couple of possible bugs to report (apologies if these have already been mentioned, and I simply am not up on all the past posts):
1. At the full moon event at the lake, even if your assistant is supervising, your slavemaker gets the boost from "blessing of plenty." So, it seems the program isn't checking who's at the lake with your slave.
2. I'm not sure if this is a flash error, but as I was playing through with my second slave (Mihoshi), suddenly the personal supervision / assistant supervision button up and vanished. I tried to reload saves from previous days, and it didn't reappear...
3. This possibly could be a correction of a previous exploit, but I'll mention it just the same. Back in 3.2.06, you could visit the Count the first time for the minor bust size increase, but not follow-up, and the event would reset with your next slave, that no longer is the case. Is this a bug, or a correction, since the "special liquid" is supposed to be very rare?
Thanks again, and I'll be on the look-out for your responses. If these issues have previously been addressed, a reference to where I should be looking would be helpful. Hope your health has been good of late!
1. this is a knowmn issue. Currently the game always assumes your slave maker supervises at night. This will be change.

3. correct, it should only happen once per game, not per slave

DeleteGuys can someone tell more about slave maker stats? Is it really affect on something? I know some of them do, like renown let u unlock shit. But most of them sounds like completely unnecessary.

Corruption can affect endings, depending on background of the SM. Constitution used to affect how many "hit points" (if that's the right term) for battle, but battle (or at least the rape gang encounter in slums) hasn't worked for me in 3.3.01.
DeleteIf you're too tired ("Tiredness"?), the game gives dialog of how you need rest. Low Dominance opens up the Red Lily sequence of events/quest for female and hermaphrodite SMs.
There are probably other effects, and likely even more in the works.

*Constitution, Attack and Defense are used in battle.
*Corruption and Dominance are used for the Special 'demonic' Endings, accesible with Inhuman Ancestry, Cock of Demonic Origin backgrounds. The Dominance is also used for the Red Lily.
*Tiredness affects the Slaver ability to train slaves. If it’s get too high, he would need to rest.
*Charisma and Nymphomania (Lust too?), affect some events in Aeris training.
That’s pretty much it.
It makes me excited when i think about how many things may be done with the rest of it. Can become a really great game. Of course that even now it's pretty good, but it has a lot of potential though. Especially compared to other games this type.
