To clarify there are people working on new SlaveGirls using the SDK.
Orihime is the first one released by Daisy_strike and is included in the full install for version 15.8. The are others but in early alpha releases and are linked in the forums. They are graphics only girls with no story. Currently Ino from Naruto, Aeris from FF7 and Menace. Ino and Menace are quite advanced in development
Multiple others are mentioned in development, notably
Asuka from Evangelion
Bulma from Dragonball
Menace from Queen's Blade (advanced progress
early talk of Reimu from Touhou
I am working on
Rei from Evangelion
Mai Shiranui
Deedlit
Astaroth
Krystal the Star Fox
Rider
in various stages of development, Rei is quite close to a basic release, mainly once I finish the new version I will finish her in a few days.
Otherwise development is going well. Some NPC changes, mainly for graphics used, some variant images and some people now have images, and names.
The remaining tasks is still the same but quite advanced. I am confident of a beta test in about a week
Ah, so no Krystal. The way some people were talking made it seem like she'd be available with the new release.
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, will there be any changes to the SDK? I've found some pictures of girls I want to use, but I'm hesitant to start the coding if the game will change completely.
Yes, there are SDK changes, but nothing radical, some altered functions, variables. New functions for new features, but defaults are provided.
ReplyDeleteIt takes about 30mins at most to convert a girl from the current SDK to the new. Longer if you want non default graphics for the new jobs, but they are optional.
Hey Cmac,
ReplyDeleteSometime ago, someone on the futanaripalace forum mentioned that there aught to be more jobs that consider refinement. You responded, saying that no such job realistically exist, and that you stand by the current setup. I totally agree with you, and I simply wanted to say that I'm glad to see that you're taking a tough stand on the statistics, and that you do not buckle to your fan-base.
The way I see it, those statistics are for the benefit of the slave owner, not the slaver trainer (yourself). Whatever benefit you gain out of those statistics (such as cooking), is purely coincidental. Useful or not, as slave makers we must make the decision to either invest or not invest in these statistics based on our own dividends and based on the demands of the customers. If every statistic was a substitute to any other statistic, it certainly destroys any such critical thinking that we slave trainers make.
Pooolka, himself once said that he would like to keep the game as challenging as possible, as that is how most historical H-games once were. I'm glad to see that you make a similar stand. When architecting a game, there is a fundamental spectrum of realism vs. balance. I immensely enjoy slavemaker due to it's focus on realism over balance, and I am sure I am not alone.
I wanted to reach out to you about this topic, but I did not want to clutter that thread in futanaripalace. Therefore, I thought this was the best alternative.
Best of luck during the beta testing,

Cmac, you never fail to impress me with your tireless efforts to make something that's already outstanding even better, but don't overwork yourself! =^-^=
ReplyDeleteUm, hi. I'm new to commenting here, but I loved the game so much I started to look around some more and found this place.
ReplyDeleteI think you're doing a great job. As a game, it's really good.
I just wish it was easier to find user made stuff.
If I had the slightest talent for programming I'd take a crack at Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star. THERE'S a Cat Slave.
ReplyDeleteAbandoned by her people, left stranded and captured, or sold into slavery to survive......
Great game!
ReplyDeleteHowever...
Will any "patches" be released for this on a specific date? I'm not skilled with programming, so I can't really code new girls into the game.
can someone help with the sdk ive done every thing except the pictures
