The .jpg is merely recompressed at 80-90% quality using Photofiltre, one of the many image editors out there. It’s a free alternative to Photoshop. Sometime, more often, I also remade the .png to decrease its size, then I optimized them, for better results. I’ve take at look at Matsumoto and I guess by decreasing some images size and saving them again with a other compression method, the folder could be smaller.M.I.A. (tho I have an amd 8 core cpu)<br /><br />I use Flash Optimizer 2 for the .swf files and when you do that it all so compress any images of any type that might be within the .swf, so for that its trial and error...compress the .swf start game and see how good or bad it might look, but it can really make the files smaller...its just how bad you might want to have the art look...I find for the jpg compressor <br /><br />I set it for about 40% of the original size works pretty good, for the .swf its hard to tell as the preview function does not all ways work.<br />So you have to test after each try. But it can really make things smaller.. As I said above I made the main slavemaker.swf only 3megs and it looks pretty good. I have run the png conpressor over the entire Images folder (you can drag and drop a folder and PNGOptimiser processes all files in all subfolders)<br /><br />There is a limit though, see the files for Matsumoto for instance, most are png and they are all optimised, and take 97Mb. They could be resizes smaller or converted to jpg.
